Support for the Hue Bridge Pro:
The 2026 update for our KNX Philips® Hue integration
With the update of the Philips Hue KNX App and support for the Philips® Hue Bridge Pro, we are expanding the functionality for professional KNX installations. Installations using the Hue Bridge Pro can now be fully integrated into the KNX system. This includes a significantly increased device capacity with support for more than 150 luminaires, management of up to 500 lighting scenes, and improved response times.
Another update planned for spring:
With the next update, you will be able to integrate Philips® Hue accessories such as sensors and switches. Thanks to the new MotionAware™ function, Philips® Hue lamps can be used as motion sensors without additional hardware.

One app, full control
With support for the new Hue Bridge Pro
With Hue KNX Control, you can control your luminaires directly via push buttons, visualizations, or automations. Switch and dim lights, recall lighting scenes, or combine lighting with scene, time, or presence functions.
The new version of the Philips Hue KNX App is now available for the APP MODULE and the CUBEVISION MODULE X and is available as a free update for existing users.
Extension of KNX integration for biometric access solutions with ekey
New features for event-based access scenarios
Together with ekey biometric systems GmbH, we are expanding the integration of biometric access solutions into KNX systems. With the new ekey bionyx Notification API, fingerprints can be integrated into KNX, IoT, and automation solutions in an event-based and much more flexible way.
Via our APP MODULE, access events can be processed in a targeted manner – for example, to trigger personalized KNX scenes, individual automations, or security-related functions. Compared to traditional static interfaces, the Notification API enables faster and more dynamic event processing.
The updated Smart Home app “ekey bionyx connect” is now available. Existing installations can be extended via an app update.
Now compatible with Fire TV models
KNX Connect for Panasonic TV
Good news for all KNX integrators and smart home enthusiasts:
KNX Connect for Panasonic TV now also supports TV models with Fire TV!
Selected Fire TV-based televisions can now be seamlessly integrated into KNX installations and incorporated into existing smart home scenes. Control your TV conveniently via KNX push buttons, visualizations, or automations – from switching it on to adjusting the volume and selecting the source.
With support for Fire TV OS, we significantly expand the application possibilities of the APP MODULE and offer even more flexibility when choosing TVs for KNX projects.
The update of our “KNX Connect for Panasonic TV” app is now available. Existing installations can be extended via an app update.
BAB TECHNOLOGIE at Light + Building
