The entire infrastructure required for operation is managed by our partner, HOOC AG in Switzerland. The licence fee covers these operating costs.

HOOC AG’s applications have been rated »Excellent« by Swiss cybersecurity expert InfoGuard, ensuring exceptionally high security standards. All data is transmitted using 256-bit AES encryption. Login to the HOOC Portal can optionally be secured with two-factor authentication. The HOOC servers are located in Switzerland and are subject to European data protection law.

Yes, a licence is required for each installation or each EIBPORT, CUBEVISIONMODULE or APPMODULE – just as separate hardware would be required for each installation.
Yes, you can add any number of systems to the HOOC Portal. As an administrator, you then have access to all installations at any time.

At any time. With our new »HOOC Premium Plus« package, you can easily add extra features such as Alarm Server, Notification Center or cloud-based KNX monitoring. Short-term use is also possible, as you can change these features each month.
HOOC Plug&Play VPN is available in the EIBPORT V3 (from 3.9.0), the CUBEVISIONMODULE (from 1.5.0) and the APPMODULE (from 1.7.0) via a free update.

A licence is always linked to a device. If you move and take your EIBPORT, your APPMODULE or your CUBEVISIONMODULE with you, the licence moves with you. These licences always require a one-time payment. Additional services are billed separately and can be cancelled monthly.
The HOOC licence is designed as a long-term licence and is valid for 10 years.
No. The HOOC licence is permanently linked to the respective hardware and cannot be transferred to another device.
If the device develops a fault within the warranty period, special provisions apply to licence transfers or device replacements
